Scene 3 Of Act 1

In todays rehearsal we started form the beginning of act 1, firstly with the first physical theatre part. We changed the first part, from starting on the floor to be standing in a curved line being tied together, we have to be slouched over, suggesting that we have been there for a long time and are exhausted. We slowly sway side to side to show the movement of the ship, when Sideway is being flogged we gradually fall down to our original positions, and then we carry on with the scene as it was before. We then carried on with scene 3, many of our lines still needed learning and therefore we struggled with keeping the energy up, because of this we worked together when the cast was going over some other scenes, we focused on knowing our cues and moving around.
