Objectives

• To understand own/class progress to date
• To set targets for rehearsal today
• Run act 2 off book confidently

Where My Character Is?

• I am confident with the song "im feeling fine", partly confindent with "ordinary fool" and i need to practice the reprise of "bugsy malone"
• I am getting better with using stylised pedestrian movement whe i am off of stage
• I am more confdent with act 1 than i am with act 2
• My accent is improving

Where The Class Is?

• We have blocked the whole play so we all have a better understanding of the storyline, this is helping the whole class focus on their characterisation

Targets For This Lesson?

• To become more familiar and confident with act 2
• Work on my scenes where my character is angry
• Facial expressions

In this lesson we focused on the staging of the show. We tried out different ways that we could use stage blocks to create a scene that we would find useful, after a few different ideas we had come up with a design as a class. We found this usefull because we were able to run through the scenes as they would be on the performance, as well as this it allows us to practice how long it takes us to walk up and down steps and around the set during our scenes.
